Joey's greatest hits II

this is an entry i wrote about a week and a half after i moved to michigan. whoa, it was also one year ago today. i just realized that. anyway, i wrote this after i visited my mother's home town, and saw lake michigan's north shore. i was also feeling very homesick when i wrote this at 4 in the morning.

we went up north yesterday to see the town my mother grew up in. it was a city called East Jordan, which was nice. we then went up to Charlevoix, which is on Lake Michigan. it was really pretty up there, but it was incredibly cold. i've never seen waves that big on a lake. i took a few pictures, and found some interesting looking rocks too. we came back this morning, and went immediately to work. work was pretty cool, and everyone is excited to have us up here. i think when i get my paycheck tomorrow, nate and i will go to bennigan's. i need a big irish sooo bad. almost as bad as i need a whataburger and some ihop coffee.

i also want an ultimate cheeseburger, but there's no jack in the box either. someone from texas please bring me the following items, and i will give you a hug.

a double whataburger with cheese

a pitcher of IHOP coffee

an ultimate cheeseburger and some of the 2 for 99 cent tacos

a bus with all my friends from down there

some cigarette's and gasoline cause they're expensive as hell up here

i'll take them as soon as i can get them
